LUCA BIGAZZI — Director of Photography

Luca Bigazzi is one of Italy’s most celebrated directors of photography, known for his distinctive style and masterful use of natural light. He has collaborated extensively with directors such as Paolo Sorrentino — working on masterpieces like the Academy Award winner La grande bellezza (The Great Beauty), Il divo, Le conseguenze dell’amore (The Consequences of Love), and the series The Young Pope — as well as with Silvio Soldini on films like Pane e tulipani (Bread and Tulips). Winner of seven David di Donatello awards for Best Cinematography, he holds the record for the most wins in the history of the award. Throughout his career, he has worked with renowned figures in Italian cinema such as Martone, Virzì, Comencini, Mazzacurati, Capuano, and many others.

CARLOTTA CRISTIANI — Editor

Carlotta Cristiani is one of the most sought-after film editors in Italian cinema, known for her long-standing collaborations with directors such as Leonardo Di Costanzo and Silvio Soldini. Her credits include La variabile umana by Bruno Oliviero, Pane e tulipani (Bread and Tulips) by Silvio Soldini, Vergine giurata (Sworn Virgin) by Laura Bispuri, and the TV series My Brilliant Friend (seasons 2 and 4). She edited a short film by Alice Rohrwacher that was nominated for an Academy Award in 2023. Cristiani is a member of the Oscar Academy and serves on the jury for the David di Donatello Awards.

MARTINA SCRINZI — Actor

Martina Scrinzi is an Italian actor. She made her film debut in 2021 with the independent feature Mostro Intruso Aspro, directed by Kia Khalili Pir. In 2023, she appeared in Giorgio Diritti’s Lubo. The following year, she played the lead role of Lucia Graziadei in Vermiglio, directed by Maura Delpero, which premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival. For this role, she won the Nuovo IMAIE Talent Award and was nominated for the David di Donatello for Best Actress.
